JEONBUK NATIONAL UNIVERSITY
The International Relations Research Society is a student organization dedicated to exploring key aspects of International Relations, such as international organizations and public diplomacy. Our members actively engage in discussions on these topics while also participating in external activities and competitions to deepen their understanding of international organizations.
One of the biggest strengths of our society is the abundance of opportunities for direct involvement in activities related to international organizations. We provide numerous chances for students to participate in Model United Nations (MUN) competitions and other international political activities, such as:
• National University Model United Nations (NUMUN) – We participate in this prestigious competition annually, and in 2024, we won the Grand Prize, marking the first victory for our university in four years.
• Jeonbuk Youth Model United Nations – Our members serve as chairpersons, guiding and assisting young participants while helping them understand the role and significance of the United Nations.
The International Politics Research Society welcomes students from all levels of expertise, whether you have a deep understanding of international politics or are just beginning to explore the field. If you are hesitant to join due to a lack of knowledge, we encourage you to take part and gain valuable firsthand experience.
